What’s it made of?
The Thermo-Splint Custom Fit has two layers. The outer layer is an extremely rigid light-cured resin – even harder than the acrylic found in a common hard splint. The inner layer is a thermo-plastic material that becomes totally reprogrammable when heated. (This material is very different from that found in the Classic and Hard Face options, which re-conform to their original shape when cool.)

Because the patient bites into the splint to seat while it’s warm, it also equilibrates itself to the opposing arch.
